We’re inviting worship leaders to share how they view their work and its many intersections—from songwriting and ministry responsibilities to mental health and the broader worship music industry.
This survey is supported by the Louisville Institute and continues the work of Worship Leader Research (WLR), building on our 2022 study. It aims to deepen our collective understanding of the challenges, views, pressures, and hopes carried by worship leaders in the local church today.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
As a thank you for participating, three respondents will be randomly selected to receive:
-
One $1,000 USD gift card
-
Two $500 USD gift cards
Gift cards will be fulfilled via Sweetwater or Long & McQuade, depending on the winner’s location.
Your insight matters—not just to us, but to the Church at large. Thank you for helping us do this work well.
To participate in this survey, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be over the age of 18.
- Be located in North America.
- Serve in some capacity as a worship leader in a Christian congregation.
For this survey, a “worship leader” is anyone who plans, leads, and selects music for worship in one or more congregations at least monthly, regardless of job title or employment status (i.e. volunteer, part-time or full-time)
