About this Study

Using quantitative data analysis and a qualitative survey, the project will assess the transmission and reception of popular worship songs to understand better the relationship between the worship music industry and local worship practitioners. The study aims to equip practitioners with a deeper understanding of the forces that impact their corporate worship song selections. Findings from this research will be published in 2023.

Contest Rules

  • Participants must be a church worship leader or worship pastor (paid or volunteer) who is responsible for the selection of songs and/or song selection for corporate singing.
  • Four survey participants will receive a $500 Sweetwater e-gift card
  • The winner will be selected at random from completed survey participants.
  • Each participant may complete the survey once.
  • Participants who upload their Planning Centre data in the survey will receive three entries.
